Christine Miskonoodinkwe-Smith is Saulteaux from Peguis First Nation (Treaty One). She is an author, editor, writer, and journalist who graduated from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Aboriginal Studies in June 2011 and went on to receive her Master of Eduction in Social Justice in June 2017. Christine is the child of a first-generation Residential School Survivor. Chirstine is also a Survivor of the 60s Scoop.
