Between writing, beading, and painting, Mackenzie spends as much time as she can in nature and her community. She lives in Sioux Lookout, ON with her husband and daughter.

Located around the Great Lakes, the Ojibwe are apart of the Anishinaabe. Learn more about the nation from the author. Learn about their deep ties to the land and culture.

Indigenous Peoples have inhabited the Land we now know as North America long before the arrival of European explorers. Learn about culture, daily life, celebrations and more.
