This second part in Mackenzie Angeconeb poetry collection explores how our identities are shaped by the relationships that define us. Each poem is a tribute to a meaningful connection, beginning with a vivid memory that captures its essence. The verses then reflect on the bond’s significance, how it has evolved, and the lessons it has imparted. Through sensory details—objects, places, and moments—the poems evoke the presence of those who’ve touched our lives. They honour the traits we admire in others and trace the lasting impressions they leave on us. As a whole, the collection becomes a journey of reflection, inviting readers to consider their own relationships and recognize the mosaic of influences—loved, lost, and learned from—that make us who we are.
