Big sister Ma'iingan finds her little sister's singing to be just awful. On the way to their auntie's house with their mother, little sister wants to sing too. But Ma'iingan does not approve. Now Mom tells her eldest daughter they both can sing for their aunt. Ma'iingan realizes her little sister is sad and begins to sing with her little sister. When they sing for their aunt, both girls are told they are both amazing singers. Ma'iingan learns to share her talent with her little sister so that both sisters are happy. Series author Katherena Vermette is a Métis writer of poetry, fiction, and children's literature. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia. Illustrator Irene Kuziw is a graduate of the University of Manitoba’s School of Art.
